GPU temps go up 75c after installing the full community patch

Hey there,
Played this games as a kid,
And I tried to get it up and running again, this time with the patches but for some reason it causes my GPU to turn into a jet.
While on the vanilla install it barley raises it by a temp,
Is there any settings I need to tweak to have it be like the vanilla?
I feel like my GPU  is about to take off lol
