Is the master server for the community pack down? i am asking because it keeps timing out when trying to view populated servers, yet the weird stats on the news page and the MOTD still show.

This was a decision made to support updates to the renderer. Older PCs don't like the new D3D rendering tricks, but Nerf 300 will have another version altogether.

FYI, on classic PCs the upgraded Direct3D driver crashes with an out-of-memory error. I had to copy the original D3D driver to get it to run.

really enjoying the additions to the game, especially the extra maps. Only recently discovered this game but I'd been playing Unreal Tournament for years and this was a breath of fresh air.

Maps:

PM-Anoxia:
  • Fixed some BSP issues.
  • Added two new hallways to alleviate some dead end choke points.

PM-Assembly:
  • Added some lights in the lower floor.
  • Fixed a zoning issue and zoned off the observation room.
  • Assigned a forcefield texture to the conveyor belt area.

PM-Baboos:
  • Fixed a BSP issue that caused a glass floor to turn invisible.

PM-Blackheart:
  • Replaced the Boof Gun with the version from RPGStats.

PM-BoxCanyonRemix:
  • Added some walls for additional cover.
  • Adjusted collision of the sacrificial weapon altars to make them easier to use.

PM-Breach:
  • Opened up the boarded area to be more accessable.
  • Converted the step into the ElectroShield room into a ramp for easier access.
  • Added ledges for the secret jumps to make them a bit easier.
  • Removed the damage for stepping in the shallow lava.
  • Reduced the damage for jumping through the lavafall to 10.
  • Increased damage in the main pools of lava to 30.

PM-Ciguatera and CTF-Ciguatera:
  • Adjusted timing of powerup grates to open every 40 to 80 seconds (down from 60 to 120).
  • Fixed an issue where the powerup grates were not filled with water and therefore difficult to get out of in certain circumstances.

PM-Chroma:
  • Fixed being able to fall into the four small square holes in the floor grating area.

PM-CrossBeam:
  • Added central pillars on the lower floor for additional cover.

PM-CWChamp2008:
  • Swapped the positioning of the ElectroShield and Whomper.
  • Fixed bots' understanding of how to jump to the lower bridge secret.

PM-Cypher:
  • Reduced spinning speed of the skybox.

PM-Wow and CTF-Wow:
  • Added some decorative plants.
  • Adjusted the collision on the center totem.

PM-XenoraRemix:
  • Minor texture fixes.

System:

PM-BluePsi.int and PM-Crusher.int:
  • Fixed some typos.

WarBots.u, HuntBots.u, and RaceBots.u:
  • Bots now ignore flying or ghosting players.
