This is only necessary if you are using voice activation. The reason you need a mute button is simple, you can carry on a conversation, or cough, without everyone hearing it. Go to Settings and press Key Settings then click Add. Click Toggle on the little menu on the left then Mute Microphone. Then set what key (or key combination) you want to activate that option. Just click the first key option and click the necessary key. Note: I use Scroll Lock for my Mute. The reason being that I don't use scroll lock very much (read at all) and it lights up a LED on the key board. That makes it very convenient to tell whether I am muted or not. |
