This was B-Ball's first original map, with some help from Mr.BoBBo - a simple idea that proves to be a lot of fun in practice! You have two basketball "hoops", which are the ballblast scoring places, and you have the ballblast balls to pick up and shoot - plus plenty of weapons, to discourage your opponents from standing still long enough to score!
The hoops are large, but for some reason it is very hard to get the balls to drop into them... which is good, because otherwise the game would be over pretty quickly, I guess...
Many people dislike Ballblast because their skill can count for very little, against the luck of actually finding the balls and scoring with them. This is not a problem here, as the balls always spawn and respawn in the open arena. So, skill rules, and general fighting prowess!
At the moment, non-pointblast maps are in this section only as "guests", and do not attract "RR" scores, but if this one did, I think 8.5 would be about right... - written by Custer |
