3rd CW Tournament - 2010/03/05 01:47
The make-up tournament is here...
scheduled for March 20th, 10:00 AM GMT-7 (A.K.A Pacific Time)
For the sake of ease, I have uploaded 2 packs, you'll use all the files in each pack to replace your current files (that's how its gotta be till we get our updater). This will limit any file mismatch errors.
Packs are available here:

The day before I will try to host a rotator test server most of the day to test your PC for missing or bad files.
Rules like always:
1.If a player drops out during qualifiers with no intention or voiced intention of returning before the end of the qualifiers, their current points will be added together. They will be scratched from the rankings with their current points unless they return. If they return in the middle of a match, they are back in the running for placement in that round and any following rounds, but any rounds they left during, or missed entirely will not be counted.
2.If a player in the top 3 drops out during Championship rounds with no intention or voiced intention of returning before the end of the rounds, their current points will be added together. This total will be their running total for the prizes, so any matches they left during, or missed entirely will not be counted. If they return, they will once again be able to try for placement in the remaining rounds.
3.Rajada will not win any prize certificates unless no more than 2 competitiors are ever present during the Championship rounds. Rajada's score will not affect the outcome of the rankings in the Qualifiers or Championship rounds. If Rajada is to place in the top 3 in either the Qualifiers or Championship rounds, his place will be given to the next highest soring competitior.
4.Rajada may participate in several rounds of the tournament, however he may also log in as an administrator at any time if he wishes to simply watch the action.
5.Rajada will try not to cheat as an administrator, but does not make any promises.
6.There will be a ten minute practice round ten minutes before the start of the tournament for anyone who would like to join. At 10:00, I will be waiting 5 extra minutes to allow people to join. After the 5 minutes is up, I will "ServerTravel" the server to the first map so everyone who is already on the server stays on it over the transition.
7.If the server is to ever go down for any reason, it will be back up within a few minutes (usually less) on the round it crashed on (unless it is discovered that the map must be skipped to avoid the crash, which is unlikely).
The names of the three championship maps have been decided. Those who make it to the championship rounds will participate in...
PM-Serenity: A disintegrating, ancient temple un-earthed by archaeological teams. This map will test your ability to fight in close quarters. It will be helpful to know that double-dodging and jumping may help you access otherwise out of reach areas.
PM-Solaris: A large concrete structure comprised of complex, twisting ramps spinning through space. This map will test your ability to fight when threats approach you from all 6 cardinal directions. Keep in mind that along with self preservation, you'll want to look where you're walking; there are no hand-rails and it's a long ways to the next space station.
PM-Eon: Located in the slums of Tokyo, the Eon Arena is run by an underground, secret society in a dystopian future. This map will test your adaptability to misleading and disorienting environments. Just remember, down isn't the only way to fall.
