The idea of a mapping contest has been thrown around an awful lot, and after seeing TF2's mapping contest and realizing that the dev team of TF2 MUST be stealing my thoughts after that whole gold incident and now this, I decided to start it up.
This is Rajada's totally epic mapping contest, literally translated it means someones gonna win and a bunch more are gonna lose. But how do you even get in on these slim odds to begin with? Make a map of course! But this isn't just ANY OLD MAPPING CONTEST. This is a multi-phase project, one phase being done at a time by multiple authors. The winning map of each phase goes to the next phase...
Phase One: Make a map using only the provided texture pack. Use the different colors to your advantage if you think it will help in phase two. Remember, your map will be edited by several others if it wins! You'll be judged on creativity of layout and flow.
Phase Two: The winner from phase one will be distributed to participants. You must now TEXTURE the map using any texture pack you want. You will be judged based on the look and feel of your paint job. Feel free to make a custom texture pack, but keep your time limit in mind! NO ADDING ANY BRUSHES AT ALL EXCEPT MOVERS!
Phase Three: The winner of phase two will be distributed to participants. You must now DETAIL the map, adding decorations, weapons and lighting. Try to limit the addition of detail brushes to a minimum. You'll be judged on the final look of your level.
Lastly, Rajada will path the level and finalize it for release.

Rules for the current phase (2):
You have until the 21st of September to e-mail the map(s) to me, Rajada at Rajada.nab@gmail.com.
Title your map PM-Davey<NUMBER OF MAP HERE>-<MY NAME HERE>Phase2. Use your real name or screen-name. For example, PM-Davey1-RajadaPhase2.
For this phase, use the any textures you'd like and be sure to not miss any movers! They all have a special texture applied and can be found this way.
You are not to add anything besides textures and movers in this phase. A zoneinfo to light the entire level for testing and a test playerstart actor will be allowed. Anything else will be deleted for phase three.
If in doubt about adding anything to your map for this phase, just ask. I may make special exceptions if the situation warrants it.
You need not make a sky box till phase three. You need not put a gametype either, nor any lighting with the exception of zone lighting for testing purposes only.
This map should be made to resemble a Pointblast (PM-) map. No Speedblast this time, though I can make your map into a Ballblast map rather easily if it is good enough.

Movers are allowed in this phase and due to a slight revision should be made into movers in this phase.
