Dry Lake Island(DLI) - 2007/08/04 15:09 Forget the old map. DryLakeCounty has just expanded. Here are two screen shots for now. I will post more toady so be ready. The map is roughly 80% complete. I think its big enough to get lost in. But don’t worry I provided plenty of road signs along the way.

Re:Dry Lake County (DLC) - 2007/08/04 17:59 Wow, it does look very neat, I haven't seen a new map in a while, so this should be great fun. What program do you use for custom textures? If you have some version of photoshop, you can apply a variety of filters that add a little realism. But since every texture looks cartoony, it actually gives it a very refreshing look. I like what I see so far. How to play NAB...

For my textures I used Microsoft Paint. This is the logo/icon

Yep, I set on my computer and ask myself, “ hey Necco, should I add yellow or purple flowers?” So I chose purple. Then make the strokes, add-ons, and last minute details. I’m happy that you can tell it’s a cartoon look. I WAS going exactly 4 it. You’re also right, realism is needed, so Ima look online for this photo shop image enhancer

After uv'e opened NAB amd are in the pause menu. Go to options.
I circled it in red.
After u clicked options go to VIDEO DRIVER. CLICK IT!!!!

and change ur device to one of these circled in red if u have it.

software rendering
direx x
st3 metel for windows - something like that

Re:Dry Lake County (DLC) - 2010/07/27 18:23 yay the map is finally nearing completion. Sorry for the drastically long wait. I have been getting crashes and lashes all around the map so I just decided to delete the old one and recreate it from the ground up. And wow, don't let me get started on how long it takes to rebuild the geometry of the entire map. Anyway it should be finished by this week, and I'll post some new screen shots today. This map is really pushing the limits of decoration in UnrealED so i hope you have a good graphics card for it. I had to run to best buy yesterday to get a new one due to frequent crashes. Be warned the game may crash in the open field areas. but thats were i hope rajada can solve that.
